What Are The Points of The Law? A Celto - Egyptian Wiccan Interpretation of The Wiccan
Rede POINT #1. The Rede was made and ordained of
The Ancient and Shining Ones POINT #2. The Rede was made for the Wise Ones,
to advise and help in times of troubles. POINT #3. The Wise Ones should give due honor
to The Ancient and Shining Ones and pay heed to Their Will which is ordained by The Ancient and Shining Ones, for
it was ordained for the good of The Wise Ones as the honor of The Wise Ones is good for The Ancient and Shining Ones, for
The Ancient and Shining Ones love the Wise Ones. POINT #4. As a man love a woman by mastering
her, so should The Wise Ones love The Ancient and Shining Ones by being mastered by Them. POINT #5. It is necessary that The Circle, which
is The Temple of The Ancient and Shining Ones, should be truly cast and purified; that it may be fit for The Ancient and Shining
Ones to dwell within. POINT #6. And The Wise Ones shall be properly
prepared and purified to enter The Presence of The Ancient and Shining Ones. POINT #7. In Perfect Love and Perfect Peace,
The Wise Ones shall summon Sacred Power from within themselves and give That Sacred Power back to The Ancient and Shining
Ones. POINT #8. All this has been taught to The Wise
Ones by The Ancient and Shining Ones. POINT #9. In this way may mortals commune with The
Ancient and Shining Ones, for The Ancient and Shining Ones cannot help mortals without the help of mortals. On The High Priest/esshood POINT #10. The High Priestess shall rule The
Circle as the representative of The Great Goddess. POINT #11. And The High Priest shall support
her as the representative of The God. POINT #12. And the High Priestess shall choose who
she will be he of sufficient Wisdom, to be her High Priest. POINT #13. For as The God, Himself; kissed
her feet in The Five - Fold Rite, laying His Power at the feet of The Goddess, because of Her youth, beauty, sweetness, kindness,
Wisdom, justice, humility and generosity; so He resigned all His Power to Her. POINT #14. But The High Priestess should ever
mind that The Power comes from Him. POINT #15. The Power is only lent to be used
wisely and justly. POINT #16. And the Greatest Virtue of The High
Priestess be that she recognise that youth is necessary to the representative of The Goddess. POINT #17. So she will gracefully retire in
favor of a younger woman should the Circle so decide in unanimity. POINT #18. For a True High Priestess realizes
that gracefully surrendering pride of place is one of the greatest virtues. POINT #19. And that she will return to that pride
of place in a future life with even Greater Power and Beauty. On Security POINT #20. In The Time Before Time, when the
Wise Ones extended far and wide, we were Free and practiced in all the Great Temples. POINT #21. But in these troubled times, we must practice
our Ancient Rites at night and in secret. POINT #22. So be it ordained that none but
The Wise Ones shall see or Ancient Rites, for our enemies abound and persecution rules the tongues of men. POINT #23. So be it ordained that no Coven shall
know where a new Coven does meet. POINT #24. And who its members be except its High
Priest and High Priestess and those they shall so trust. POINT #25. And there shall be no communication
among them except by way of The Ancient and Shining Ones or those they shall so trust. POINT #26. And only if it be secure, shall
The Covens meet in some safe place to celebrate The Eight Great Days of Power. POINT #27. And while they are there none shall
say from where they came or give any but their Wiccan names. POINT #28. For this purpose, if any be put
to persecution, they cannot disclose what they do not know. POINT #29. Be it known to all that none shall reveal
to anyone who is not of The Wise Ones, the names of their fellows, or where they may be found, or say anything that may betray
any of our fellow Wiccans to our enemies. POINT #30. Nor may it be revealed the site of the
Covenshead. POINT #31. Nor where the Coven does meet. POINT #32. If any of The Wise Ones shall break these
laws then they shall be cursed of The Great Goddess, and their lives on this earth shall end utterly, and they shall belong
for eternity in the torments of Hades. ON DISPUTES POINT #33. Let each High Priestess rule her Coven
In Perfect Love and Perfect Trust and with justice and in peace with the assistance of the High Priest and The Council of
Sages and always in accordance with the Will of The Ancient and Shining Ones. POINT #34. She will heed all disputes amongst the
Wise Ones and endeavor to settle all disputes among their number. POINT #35. Let her recognise that there will always
be present those will try to force others to their will POINT #37. Such as these may or may not bring
evil into The Sacred Circle. POINT #38. Their ideas may be possitive so let them
be heard in open discussion. POINT #39. But if no agreement can be reached or
if refuse to submit to the good advice of The High Priestess, then it is The Will of The Ancient and Shining Ones that Perfect
Love and Perfect Peace be returned to the Coven. HIVING OFF (New Covens) POINT #40. Any member may hive off and establish
a new Coven so long as they live or meet in this new Coven more than a league away from the original Coven. POINT #41. Any member of a Coven who wishes
to found a new Coven must inform the Coven membership and then move a distance of more than a league to found a new Covenshead. POINT #42. Any member of the original Coven who wishes
to join the new may do so but then must avoid contact with the original Coven. POINT #43. Boundaries between the origial Covenshead
and the new shall be settled on in coucil between the Council of Sages. POINT #44. Those members of The Wise Ones who live
outside the boundaries of both the original and the new Covenshead may join one or the other but must not have contact with
both. POINT #45. For purposes of celebrating The Eight
Great Days of Power only and on the advice of The Council of Sages, the members of both the original and the new Covens may
join together in Perfect Love and Perfect Peace for the Festival. POINT #46. Hiving off from a Coven may become a source
of strive amonsth The Wise One but let it be known that these Laws were Ordained by the Ancient and Shining Ones and that
any who disregard them shall be cursed of The Great Goddess. POINT #47. Let your Book of Shadows be composed by
you and you alone. Other members of the Coven may copy sections of your Book of Shadows but it must be ever and your
sight and all copies must be retained by those who have copied your Book alone. POINT #48. If it be found in their possession
alone then they alone will be subject to any persecution that may result. POINT #49. Let each of The Wise Ones guard
their own Book and any writings therein and LET THEM BE DESTROYED if persecution threatens and if within the power of the
individual Wise One. POINT #50. Let each of The Wise Ones commit
his own Book of Shadows to memory and if danger threatens destroy it to be rewritten once the danger is passed. POINT #51. If any of The Wise Ones should die, let
their Book of Shadows be destroyed. POINT #52. If a deceased Wise One's Book of Shadows
fall into the hands of our persecutors, it will speak against them. POINT #53. For our persecutors know of the
practice of The Wise Ones to meet together in Covens. POINT #54. And all their family and friends
may then be placed in danger of persecution as well. POINT #55. So a deceased Wiccan's Book of Shadows
MUST be destroyed utterly. POINT #56. If your Book of Shadows be taken
with you, then your prosecutors can and will use it against you. WHEN YOU ARE TAKEN BY YOUR PERSECUTORS POINT #57. Let all thoughts of The Craft of
The Wise Ones be kept from your mind, POINT #58. If the torments of your persecutors become
more than you can bear, then you must say to them: "I wish to confess, I cannot stand this torment, what do you wish to know?" POINT #59. If they ask you about your Coven, SAY
NOTHING. POINT #60. If they try to make you confess to devil
worship or human sacrifice through torments, say only, "I imagined it all, it was all a nightmare, I was out of my right mind." POINT #61. Not all of those in authority are evil
some may be merciful, if there be a reason for it. POINT #62. If a confession be forced from you by
threats of torment to your family or friends say later that you knew not what you were saying to put the blame on your
tormentors. POINT #63. If you be convicted and sentenced, fear
no man. POINT #64. The Wise One will do all in their power
to defend you and if necessary rescue you from your tormentors but if you betray The Craft of the Wise Ones, or the Great
Goddess, or The Ancient and Shining Ones, you will be condemned not only in this life but in the one to come as well. YOUR RITUAL TOOLS POINT #65. To avoid discovery by our persecutors,
let your Ritual Tools appear as ordinary household items. POINT #66. Let your Sacred Ritual Pentacle be made
of was so that it may be melted down or broken if you be taken by your persecutors POINT #67. Carry a sword only if your rank amonst
the Wise Ones allows it, POINT #68. Have no runes or signs on any object. POINT #69. Let any runes or signs on your Ritual
Tools be written in ink that they may be washed off after they be consecrated to The Great Goddess. POINT #70. Let the hilt color of your Athame
be black and that of your Bolline be white so that you may determine which is which. POINT #71. Do not engrave any of your Ritual Tool
in case they may be discovered. CONDUCT POINT #72. Remember this, though you practice in
secret; you will always be the children of The Great Goddess so do NOTHING which dishonors Her. POINT #73. Do not threaten evil or even wish evil
on anyone, EVEN YOUR PERSECUTORS. POINT #74. If anyone not know to be of The Wise Ones
speaks of The Craft of The Wise, caution them not to speak to you of such things lest you both be subject to arrest, torment
and condemnation. POINT #75. Our persecutors have spies everywhere.
Such as these may appear to befriend you, if they speak to you of Covens, The Covenshead of Coven Meetings deny all knowledge
of such matters. POINT #76. If people speak to you of flying through
the air on a broomstick show them that your broomstick can do nothing but sweep that the spot upon which they stand shall
be sanctified against them. POINT #77. If any not known to be of The Wise Ones
speak to you of witches or witchcraft answer: "Many learned men deny the existance of such as these." POINT #78. Take all such comments lightly and
soon the time will be when once again all may honor The Ancient and Shining Ones openly and in freedom. POINT #79. Let all that we do be in quest of that
blessed day. POINT #80. And the blessing of The Great Goddess
and The God will be on all who know and keep these Laws. POINT #81. POINT #82. POINT #83. POINT #84. POINT #85. POINT #86. POINT #87. POINT #88. POINT #89. POINT #90. POINT #91. POINT #92. POINT #93. POINT #94. POINT #95. POINT #96. POINT #95. POINT #96. POINT #97. POINT #98. POINT #99. POINT #100. POINT #101. POINT #102. POINT #103. POINT #104. POINT #105. POINT #106. POINT #107. POINT #108. POINT #109. POINT #110. POINT #111. POINT #112. POINT #113. POINT #114. POINT #115. POINT #116. POINT #117. POINT #118. POINT #119. POINT #120. POINT #161.
